HYPHAE

Hyphae is a new group brought together by guitarist and composer Greg Sanders.
The group plays original music which draws on the music of Brazil as a major influence, using elegant and propulsive rhythmic composition as a springboard for improvisation and dialogue.

Featuring Ben Brown on drumkit, Sam Rapley on tenor saxophone and Will Harris on double bass, the resulting experience has the celebratory flavor of community music, the freedom of Keith Jarret’s 1970s quartet music, and the melodic focus of songwriters such as Paulo Cesar Pinheiro.
